Hands-on Workshop on Archaeobotany and Environmental Archaeology in Central Asia

The workshop will be titled Archaeobotany and Environmental Archaeology in Central Asia. This workshop will be dedicated to advanced environmental and archaeological science methods focusing on Central Asia. It is tailored for students passionate about studying ancient plant remains and the ecological contexts of past human societies. With a particular emphasis on archaeobotany, this training will provide a rich exploration of established and innovative analytical methods. Students from developing countries will gain hands-on experience and in-depth theoretical knowledge across various analytical techniques essential for understanding plant-based evidence in archaeological contexts. This workshop will combine lectures, hands-on sessions, and case studies, providing an engaging opportunity to develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
