Namitha Miyash

I am currently pursuing an integrated BS-MS (Bachelor of Science–Master of Science) degree at IISER Bhopal, India, with a major in Geology. My pre-major coursework included Earth and Environmental Sciences, Biology, and Chemistry, providing me with an interdisciplinary foundation. As part of my master’s thesis, I am working as a guest researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Geoanthropology through the MPG-IISER collaboration program. My research focuses on analyzing plant wax biomarkers and their isotopic signatures in modern environments to better understand past climatic and environmental changes.
